  • No Video Preview in AECS3

    Aloha All,

Running Suite version 1.1.2, OSX 10.6.2, Aja Driver 7.1, LHe card, MacPro 3.2ghz 8-core

The Media 100 video preview out option IS now active, but output to my NTSC monitor is black,
actually – no sync – nada.

I DO get output for about 1 second when I switch to the Finder, before it defaults to color bars.

AJA preview works, but as we know, the color is off.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Blessings,

Wow, this one’s turned into quite the moving target.

I’m pretty sure that Adobe will give you an official shoulder-shrug re: CS3 on Snow Leopard.

I’ll take a look Monday morning.

    Aloha Wick,

    Thanks for checking in.

I tried it with CS4 as well – same deal.

Have a peaceful weekend – see ya at the beach!

Hmmm… maybe I’m over thinking this. Did you go to: System Preferences > Media 100 Video Out and ensure that it’s set correctly first?

    TA DAAAA!

    You and me both.

It had magically switched to YC out (???)

Back to component BETA and we’re good.

Wonder if that happened with the Snow Leopard install?
It said the preference panel had to quit and reopen before
    I could access it.

Okay – you’re off the clock now!

    Have a great weekend!

Really – – turn the computer off.

Go outside and get some fresh air.

    GO! – Get outa here!

    Blessings,
