No video output with Decklink 5.5 for Windows XP x64 with Decklink HD
Hardware:
K8WE S2895 (Bios 1.01)
dual Opteron 246
4GB registered DDR Kingston
Windows XP x64 SP1At first I installed the software (Premiere Pro 2.0 and Combustion 4.02 with Quicktime 7).
If I use the Memhole Mapping-Switch in the BIOS so that I can get the full 4GByte the driver installation stops with a blue screen after the Decklink Display.
If I don’t use the switch during the installation and switch it on after the installation the system hangs up with a Bluescreen-error in the Decklink.sys after rebooting.Without activating the Memhole Switch in the Bios the Installation works but there is no Video output over HD-SDI output in Premiere Pro 2.0. The System shows only 3GByte instead of the effective installed 4GByte Memory.
In Combustion 4.02 I cannot open the video files created with 5.4 drivers (audio only in the thumbnail-view) so I couldn’t test the Framebuffer. In the C4 preferences there was only the RGB output settings available instead of the YUV setting (for Decklink HD).In 32Bit I don’t have any issuses with the output.
