No video out of the resolve, but all other software works fine.
HI guys,
I searched the forum but no luck.
Just building a new resolve. Everything works great except the resolve will not output video from the decklink card. All other apps work ok. Its only the resolve that will not output.
resolve 8.2.1
Mac pro 4.1
Decklink extreme 3d.
gt120 for gui.
2 x fx4800 in cubix.mac 10.7.4, Latest cuda driver. Latest desktop video driver.

If you only see “None” for Video I/O in Resolve Preferences, then Resolve does not see the DeckLink card.
Resolve no longer automatically installs the Desktop Video driver package required to make the DeckLink card work. You need to install that manually. If you have not done that, download and install the latest Desktop Video package from the BMD web site Support area.
You can also confirm this by looking in Mac System Preferences. There should be a Blackmagic Design icon at the bottom, in the Other section. If that’s not there, that’s why Resolve can’t see the card. If that is there, open it, and see if IT sees the card, and also note the version number.

desktop video is working perfect. It does show up in system preferences. I’m using version 9.5.2

If Desktop Video is installed, then Resolve normally MUST see that card in Resolve Preferences. Are you sure you can’t drop down the Video Capture Hardware menu and see it?
If there is really nothing displayed in the drop down menu except None, then my next suggestion would be to reinstall Resolve, and hope that fixes the issue.
Do you have the DeckLink card in the Mac or in the expansion chassis? I wouldn’t expect that to matter, but just curious.
