    Hello All:

Last night I layed VO tracks. We routed the signal directly to a mini-dv deck. Afterwards I went to capture the session to bring into FCP.

To my surprise the capturing abruptly stopped when a message came up telling me because their is no video signal capturing has stopped.

What can I do to capture my audio files layed down on a mini-dv tape? Please help. Thanks.

Because without a video signal there is no sync being sent to the capture device.

I understand that. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything in my capture settings.

I have already brought in video and audio from mini-dv tapes. The audio tech whom set up the VO session role with bars and says their is a video signal.
