No Video on MPEG-3
I just got Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 and when I try to load MP3 movies I only get the audio. Any way of making the video work?

MP3 is an audio format. There shouldn’t be any video in those files.

I see. Any clues as to why the video won’t show up? I can open it in windows media and it runs fine. On the Video details it says 14 fps and 82 kbps

Well, I wasn’t aware that an MPEG3 file could contain video. Generally, Vegas doesn’t do too well with file types that are mainly designed for sharing rather than editing. For example, DIVX encoded AVI files are trouble for Vegas. Sometimes these delivery formats are designed to thwart your efforts to edit them, other times they’re just cumbersome.
You have a couple of options. One is to find a VFW codec for your files that will allow Vegas to edit them. The other option would be to transcode the files to an edit friendly codec. I’m not sure what you’d use to do the transcoding, maybe the player can do it, maybe Windows Media Encoder could do it.
Hopefully someone will post here with specific advice. All I can give is suggestions about where I’d look.
