    No video input Help!

    All

    I have installed the Decklink HD Pro single link and tried the 5.2.2 and 5.4.2 drivers and get no video input. I have tested the line on an SDI monitor and video is coming. Help please.

    Hi Dan,

    Please provide more information.

    1) What make / model of deck (or source) are you capturing from?

    2) What format of video are you capturing and to what codec?

    3) Did you use the easy setups provided by us in Final Cut Pro? They are located in Final Cut Pro>Easy setup…

    Forgot to ask you for your system configuration details as well. Please let us know the operating system version, hardware configuration etc.

    I tried capturing to SD 8 and 10 bit as well as DV/DVCPRO and just get the no video input. The output works when extending the desktop.

    The Video is coming SD over SDI. I have tried it from directly from the SDI out of a DVCPRO deck, an XDCAM deck and through our Ross Gear router. Everything we have is in a rack and routed through a routing system.

    Here is my setup:
