No Translation templates matching
I just tried to import a file and I got the following error message. No Translation templates matching the selected XML file were found. Unable to import this file. I hit OK, then another box comes up saying: Please Choose a translation document file. I hit OK and it takes me to Finder to find a document. Since I have never seen this, and have no idea what this is, I can’t open a file I don’t understand. So FCP is stuck, I can’t get out, can’t say cancel, when I do it just keeps putting me back to the beginning. I really need help! won’t even allow me to force quit FCP. I am using FCP 7, I have not interest in bringing in the file, it was a mistake, wrong folder.

Hold down the power button until the computer turns off. Then turn the computer back on.
