No sound when editing
Hey,
This may be really obvious, but I’m stumped!!
I have been editing in FCP just fine, but today, I select a clip from the browser and play it in the viewer (there’s sound). I set my in and out points. There’s still sound.
I drag my clip from the viewer to the timeline – suddenly the sounds gone! The sound lays down on the timeline underneath the video as usual, just the sound doesn’t play.Is this something in the settings?!
Any help would be much appreciated.

This audio thing happens to me once in a while, too. Trashing the FCP preference files usually fixes it for me.
