I created a short project in Avid Mc then burned it to DVD using Nero Vision 7. when previewing, it plays back just fine but after I burn the dvd and play it, there is missing soun. The project had multiple sudio tracks in Avid. I can hear the recored dialouge and sound fx but not the background music or other dialouge.
Is this a coded issue or something? I did use Mp3 and WAV in the project…

Did you preview the file you created the DVD with – meaning did you check the file you exported out of the Avid?

Export again, but this time, click on ‘options’. Make sure the two check boxes are UNchecked. They are something like ‘use activated tracks’ and ‘use in / out marks’ (I’m not in front of an Avid…)

The way you’ve described your problem, it sounds like one or both of these boxes have been checked, and you didn’t have all your tracks selected…
