i have attached video ref cables from the betacam to the digibeta which is connected to the LSe card. I have the video feed and am able to control the Betacam deck through FCP but even after trying different combination of connecting the sound output from the betacam to the digibeta input, I have been unable to get sound. On FCP, the capute preset is

    NTSC,

AJA KONA LS NTSC 8 bit to DV

sound iv adjusted to 16-bit as i read in the manuel that Kona prefers 16-bit.

PREVIEW SOUND IS CHECKED IN THE CAPTURE WINDOW

Audio playback is through the Kona card

and iv tried attaching the sound cable directly from the betacam to the breakout cable.

    Still no luck.

How are you patching your audio from the Mac into the SP deck?
