  No sound on Vegas 6.0c capture preview

  Hi,
  Within Vegas 6.0c when I click the ‘capture’
  function the preview screen comes up with
  the image from my firewire plugged Canopus ADVC-100
  with a momentary audio but the audio then stops.
  The audio comes back only when I start recording..
  When I stop recording the audio stops again.
  Sometimes when the preview windows comes up
  I get a preview blue screen so I have to close
  the capture window and call it back..
  Is there any setting to keep the audio present?
