no sound from timeline
I usually convert my timeline to AVI and then burn to dvd using Encore with no problems. However, I needed a tape backup so I recorded the timeline thru the 1394 cable to a dv deck. Beautiful picture – no sound. I recorded the timeline thru the 1394 cable back to my HD100 camera using it as a deck. Beautiful picture – still no sound. What could I be doing wrong? The first deck used a 6 to 4 pin cable and the second time with the camera as a deck I used a 6pin to 6pin cable. By the way, there was sound on the timeline.

What are your playback settings? To determine the settings, click on the fly-out menu from the program monitor and go down to ‘playback settings’.– Aanarav
