  no playback?

  Help please! I just captured some footage off my canon xl1s to a new project. It captured fine and everything looked right till i tried to play the clip. It wont play. I hit spacebar and nothing happens, play button on monitor, still nothing. I can scrub, but even then it doesnt play audio. I can see the waves in the audio track but the levels display on the right isnt even flinching. So i go to a recent project just to see if its premiere or my clip. Its Premier! no projects will play anything. Already check for updates and restarted. NOTHINGS WORKING!!! PLEEAAASSSEE HEEEEELP!!
