No output from Decklink when digitizing
Hi Everyone!
I have 4 edit suites running on FCP v 5.0.2 running on Mac OS X v10.4.2. (Declink hd Pro dual link 5.1.1)
In 2 of the edit suites; when digitizing the image does not output to the Apple Cinema Display. (Must note that the image comes through the Log and Capture tool, but not on the Cinema Display)
The deck I used for digitizing was Sony J3 digi beta deck.
When I connect the SDI out of the deck directly into the HD Link, I manage to get picture so I guess this eliminates a possibility of a fault with either the display or the hd link.
Why the picture is not output to the cinema display when I digitize, is it a problem with the decklink card.
PS: I am confident that my Audio Video Settings are correct as I do get a picture coming through the fcp in the capture tool.

preference settings for your decklink hd: “black video output to deck in capture” -> disabled

Thank you very much for your advice about the decklink settings, it just solved my problem. 🙂
