I just installed Vegas on my new laptop today, everything was fine except until I wanted to render my video. I realize I can’t render it in .mpg. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it still didnt work, and try to download DVD Architect, but to no avail.

The only files I can render it in is
    .aa3
    .aif
    .flac
    .mp3
    .ogg
    .mov
    .rm
    .wav
    .pca
    .w64
    .avi
    .wav
    .wma
    .wmv

Sorry for making multiple posts as I really need help now.
    Thanks alot in advance.

Is it a trial version? I believe the mpeg encoder is linked to DVDA. What is prohibiting you from downloading DVDA?

Yes, MPG and AAC renderes need DVDA or the patches to rendering these formats. Danny Hays
