No Option to Import .AVI CS5
I’ve been using PP CS5 for about 6 months. So far, so good. But as of a few days ago, all of a sudden, I am unable to import .avi files. I have been doing it all along, with no problems. This is what happens: When I click “import”, I get the “import” box which allows me to select the file. At the bottom right hand corner of the import box, there is a small selection box that asks what type of file you are looking for. (mov, mpg, jpg, etc). I’ve never paid much attention to this, because before, when I’ve imported files, all files show up automatically, no matter if they are avi, mov, jpg, etc… But all of a sudden, I am having to make a selection from this little box. And guess what? .avi is not a choice. Therefore, I cannot import any .avi files. It appears that every other file type is there but no AVI. I have a feeling some setting has been altered. Does anyone out there have any ideas? I really need to be able to access my AVI files! 🙁

Okay! Nevermind. I rebooted my machine and everything is back to normal. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
