No notification of which clips need re rendering
When I stated editing HD footage I was pleased to see that the program told you which clips had to re rendered & which were just copied. Now for some reason I don’t see this notification anymore. As far as I am aware I’m still using the same codec both in & out. Is there a switch that I may have accidentally turned off? Do you get this warning for all formats?

Options/ preferences/ check no-recompression of long GOP structure,,,

Any events and or tracks you add effects, fades, to need rendering. If your rendering without effects, the preview window should show no recompression needed. It works with .m2t files.
