    hi again!

I’m going to spending the next 6-8 hours at this workstation, and was hoping to up my efficiency level.

I know quite a few hot keys, but ones I’m having trouble with are keyboard only selection tools.

Does anyone have a good link to a decent tutorial? (either cow or other?)

things I’m looking to do are:

    a. select clip to right or left of edit with (with a key command)

    b. select clip under current playhead

    c. copy and move small clips far down a timeline (say, to a marker one hour later with a category I’ve made)

    Thanks a Million!

Theoreau – looks like you have quite a day ahead of you. To answer some of your questions:

    a. Control_command-Right and Left Arrow is supposed to do this, but doesn’t.

    b. C key

    c. Use the timeline index to navigate. Copy and paste your clips as normal.

I actually think you’ll find this tutorial very useful with all these questions:

    Thanks very much!

Tom mentioned ‘C’ in my other post (I tacked on the question), and it’s saving me huge time now.. Keyboard only editing with control ; / ‘ to nav. markers, C to select clips, option ] / [ for heads and tails and control x / v to move clips.

I’m going to watch that tutorial now, and hopefully it will bring even MORE efficiency. I noticed it earlier (when I watched the two timeline / compound clip tuts. but never ended up watching the live editing one).

    Thanks again,
    Thoreau
