    Hi!

I was saving in Final Cut when I plugged in a second external harddrive. The Finder and FC crashed, and after restarting my mac there was no more ext disk visible on my desktop. Nor do my ext. DVD burner work. It seems that the FireWire no longer works. Is this possible? Ive tryed 3 different ext disks but non of them will appear om my desktop. The disks works great on another Mac.

    Im using OSX 10.3.8 on a G4 933 with 1 GB RAM.

I can use my devices thru a network, but this is not a god solution for my workflow. Can I do something to check if the firewire port do work at all?

Thank you! You have always helped me before, this forum is really great!!!
