I don’t want to use any menu’s and need my movie to autoplay….how do I do this with iDVD? I read that I should choose plain menu, and make it a black screen, and it will autoplay. Yet, my version of iDVD doesn’t have a plain menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Why use IDVD, iDVD gives you no control over the encoding of your video and therefor the results may not be as good as they could be.

Use compressor for beat control of the encoding, and then use DVD SP, and set the first play to your video track.

You should use Compressor and DVDSP as mentioned, but if you HVE to use iDVD then here’s how to do what you’re looking for.

If you switch to outline view, or whatever it’s called when you can see little tiles for each part of your DVD, there’s a topmost tile that says something like “drag files here to play when the DVD starts”. Try that, and arrange any other content accordingly.

How do I use compressor to encode the DVD??…I know, I should do research before I even ask but I figured I’d take a shot. Thanks.
