No lens control after V4 update – Ursa Mini 4k
We updated our Ursa Mini 4k to the most recent firmware, version 4.2. Prior to updating from 2.8 everything was working fine. After we updated we had no lens control on 4 of our 5 lenses. We have no control over Iris, no autofocus, no image stabilization. It’s as if it doesn’t recognize the lens is there. These are all higher end canon lenses.
Here is the list of lenses that DO NOT work with this update
Canon EF 16-35 2.8 L II usm
Canon 50mm 1:1.2 L USM
EF 24MM 1:1.4 L II USM
EF 70-200mm 2.8 L IS II USMWhen I rolled the firmware back to 2.8.1 I was able to control the lenses again. I love the update but having no control over my lenses isn’t an option.
I did speak with blackmagic support yesterday and while the person I spoke to was unaware of the issue they said it sounded like something that would have to be resolved with a future firmware update.
This is a huge issue for me, and I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this problem and if any solutions had been found.
I tried turning the camera off and on, removing the battery, resetting the camera to factory defaults, and nothing works.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
