No image with Capture
All preferences are properly set for the DV. The buttons work, but the image will not come up.
I can use NERO to capture the files, but not Premier.
Using a PC dual core AMD’s with two raptors.

Capture deck? Does the capture window come up as blue or black?

It comes up black and I get the Device message “Cnat activate Recoder – try resetting the the camera” Turning the camera on and off does not affect the capture deck.
Everthing works fine with Nero, but I need to use Premier.

First off, what equipment are you using? What type of camera; brand and model. Are you hooking up via firewire? What are your device settings in premiere set to? Give some details and I’m sure somebody can help out.
