Activity Forums DaVinci Resolve no GT120 on new macs?

As I’ve thought all along, seems a waste of time to buy or do anything until actual product is released – I prefer to continue to make money using tools that work and are available – once Resolve on mac has been out for a few months I’ll review all the postings and articles based on real world use and then consider purchasing based on configurations that other people have already beta tested.

I am under no illusions that the mere existence of a new tool that does more or less the same things as tools I already have will catapult my business to new levels – but it might bring me in the odd extra job here or there.

Since we are talking rumors. I don’t think nvidia is going anywhere. I think we are just in a middle period between cards.

Seriously, these are all rumors. The same rumor about Apple dropping NVIDIA was going on over a year ago.

I just order a 120, just in case, I guess I’ll sell the ATI that comes with the new Mac Pros, I’m hoping that I don’t have to sell the 120 because of a newer or better config, we need Resolve NOW!!!

Maybe Blackmagic should make a deal with Nvidia and sell those cards in their own website. I also heard that Nvidia is taking control of the driver development for Mac, I wonder how this fits in the whole equation, but hey, we\’re just mere spectators here

If it comes down to it, we can get our PC geek friends to flash NVIDIA cards for us. haha.

    LOL!!! That’d be awesome!!!

Specially if they list that as a hardware requirement

EOL GT120 for Mac or flashed (whichever available)

Maybe Blackmagic should stick a couple of Nvidia’s into a Multibridge.
