    No FCP User Data folder

    Trouble-shooting render problems with FCP. A guy asked me to trash my prefs. Well, when I went to do that, I found no FCP User Data folder in the Preferences folder. Obviously something not right here. What is the best course of action? Run an “update”? Will that correct and create the FCP User Data folder? Right now I am on 6.0.2 Has anyone run into this and why would this happen?

    I bet you looked in HD > Library. Preferences are user based, so make sure you go to HD > Users > yourusername > Library > Preferences.
