No EDL Export
Hi all – I’m running FCP5 on a G5 and I can’t for the life of me get it to give me an EDL. Format doesn’t matter, I really just need a list of the clip names for the researcher’s reference. But every time I try to export (and I’ve experimented with a variety of settings and types of EDLs) I save it, and no EDL file is created. Is there a step that I’m missing?

Someone else had this problem a while ago, and it turned out that all his clips were imported animation files instead of tape sources.
There really isnt a way to make an EDL from those, as the EDL format was devised for tape based linear edit rooms.Could this be the case with you?
