  No CD Device

  In the Acid Music Studio that came with Vegas, when I try to get music from a cd, there is no cd device recognized. I have an hp740 drive that works fine with many other software programs.
  Any idea what is wrong? Is this one of those features that only works in another version? I have no recourse with Sony, except for paid technical support – when it doesn’t work out of the box?
