I shot some footage and, apparently, recorded the audio in stereo.
Batch capturing the logged fails because the source audio is stereo and the project only want to recognize a single track.
I have adjusted some project settings as a test and was able to direct capture one clip, but the audio seems to be lost even though it shows up in the timeline.
    What am I doing wrong?!
    A learner’s THANKS in advance.

It sounds like you’ve got your project set up for mono sound. You should be able to change that in the project settings, but if you can’t, why not start a new project with the audio set to stereo, and capture in it?

What kind of camcorder records mono audio? Did you set your camera to record to channels 3 and 4 at 12 bit?
