No Avid Quicktime LE codecs appearing on Mac
Needing some help –
Fairly new to working on a Mac and I just installed the Avid Quicktime LE codecs and they are not appearing in CS3 AE as a compressor format like they did on the PC for me. Is there a trick? I rebooted, upgraded to Pro and still nothing. The installer said the install went fine so how do I get this working? My Avid Editor would be very happy with me if I could get back on the DNxHD train for workfrow ease.

Thanks but that is the route I’ve gone – installed the codec package and then checked the output options in AE only to find Avid DNxHD codecs not there. It’s weird, like I said I did the same on a PC and they showed up in the QT options in AE.
