No audio when rendering to mpeg-2???
I just started having problems when I render to a mpeg-2 file. There is no audio
with the video. I have audio and it renders fine when rendering to .wmv. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. -

The default DVD Architect presets do not include audio. If you go into custom, you can turn it on. However, you really should render the audio separately and give DVD Architect both files.

I am sorry, I should have been a little more clear. I am only rendering in
Vegas 7.0d and not DVD architect. When I go to play it in media player there is no sound. I have not tried putting it on DVD yet. -
In Vegas – you go to File – Render As and there are a BUNCH of presets. I kind of assumed you picked on of the presets that began with the name “DVD Architect……”. Those do NOT include audio by default! Either go into “Custom” and turn on the audio or render the audio separately as is normally recommended for videos destined for authoring in DVD Architect.

soo i really cant figure this out im using vegas to render my video to MPEG-2 and of course it has no sound i already did that whole customs thing and turned on the audio but once it finished rendering it become more then one file for example (video.mpa , video.m2v.sfl, video.m2v ) of course with the actual name of my video though.
anyways i DONT plan on making a dvd out of it i just want to stream it on the web and i have no idea what the hell to do with those files
if you could help id really appreciate it.
