February 9, 2009 at 10:57 pmThis problem has been solved! So for those of you who might have this problem, definately check in ALL your set up menus and be sure the “Generate PEK files” is checked. Once I found that and checked it all my waveforms came back. I don’t know why that mp3 waveform showed up when .wavs would not but now I don’t care.
Thank you all,
Ted

February 10, 2009 at 7:11 pmI have also noticed that if you edit audio from a clip or sequence in Audition or Soundbooth, the PEK file that those apps generate will not be read in Premiere. Delete those and Premiere will create it’s own and your waveforms will reappear.
