    Hi,

    I need some help.

I can’t hear the audio in my new project through my computer. I’m using Premiere Pro 2.0. I have tried opening an old project which I know has audio and this doesn’t work either. I know the computer has sound because I can play CDs and DVDs through it. Any ideas, is there a configuration I need to change?

If anyone out there could answer my question I would really appreciate it.

    Many thanks,

    Bruce.

If you leave your camera connected and tuned on, you will have problems hearing the audio over the PC speakers from the timeline. But you should still have audio from the source monitor. Is it just the timeline with problems?

Try setting the External Device to “None” in the audio section of the Playback Settings window.
