No Audio Recording in Blackmagic Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 with Canon 1DC
I am trying to record the footage of Canon 1DC with a Blackmagic Hyperdeck Shuttle 2. The HDMI out from Camera is given as input to the recorder and out put from the recorder is connected to the SDI input of the Panasonic 17″ monitor by a DIN to BNC adapter. The problem is there is no Audio when we played back the footage from the Shuttle. Any Solution ?

I tried with the Atomos Ninja 2 recorder and was disappointed to discover this also.
Found on page 53 of the 1Dc user guide: Audio is not output during HDMI output.
Hopefully this might be addressed with a future firmware update.
