I just cleaned up the media cache on premiere pro for the first time after it was taking up a majority of my hard drive space and now none of the audio in my clips will playback

    How do I fix this?

    Hi David,

There should be a box in the far right hand side of the Premiere Pro window which will have an orange loading bar. This will be creating all the preview files for your audio. The only thing really is to wait for this to finish.

One way to speed up the process is to load a particular audio file you need to work on into the “Source” panel and that audio file will jump to the beginning of the queue to create a preview file.

    Hopefully that helps.

    Henry

    Thanks for clearing that up.

But now, there’s a portion of a clip in the timeline where the audio is out of sync. I know I didn’t accidently move it cause when I try to import the same clip it’s still out of sync and the clip itself is fine.
