i KNOW there’s a very simple solution here, but i’m just not finding it. i just moved and re-setup my office. i’m not getting any audio playing off the timeline, though see the waveforms blasting away. just starting with internal speakers, i can get Pandora to play fine…but not Premiere Pro. plugged in my external speakers – same thing. tried headphones. same thing. and yes…i changed the PP preferences each time, too.

maybe it’s a Gremlin? or something stupid that i’m doing or not doing???

off to bed. a blessed Easter to ye all!

thanks for helping out a bonehead!

Oh boy…i knew it would be a simple solution, and it was. I always forget about the “Playback” category in PP preferences. There are audio settings there, too, that aren’t usually mentioned in the answers to this problem. All is well now. Although…on my main output monitor, the audio and video are a bit outta sync. Oy vey…i’ll figure out where that offset is.

thanks for helping out a bonehead!
