No Audio on Vegas 11 Render
Hi i have got a bit of trouble
im trying to put togteher a bluray disc
i have edited it and it plays nice with good sound but when i go to render it it is fine until i try to play the render in power dvd
then there is no sound i have also made a disc with sony dvd Auth 5 with menus the image is there but no sound
what am i doing wrong thanks
i have even ticked the audio box in the custom template when i render but still nothing

Have you played back the burnt disc in a blu-ray player that is not on your pc?
My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6

What template did you use to render the video? Did you render the audio separately as Dolby Digital AC3? You should have. This may be your problem.

Hi John no i didnt render both audio and video didnt relise had to do both
it all works now thanks
is AC3 the best for audio
i am using AVCHD files
also whats the best template to use for the Videomany thanks

For AVCHD source, I would render to Sony AVC using one of the Blu-ray templates. Then render your audio as Dolby Digital AC3.
