No Audio on MPEG in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0??
I am using Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0 with a brand new HP 9260 with Windows Vista. I Encoded the MPEG in genereic settings for MPEG 2. The picuture is fine, however I can’t figure out why there is no audio. I did select both audio and video to be encoded. Is this is a Vista problem?? All your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Even PP 2.0 does not support Vista, let alone PP 1.0.
Did you expect Word 95 to run under Vista? -
Smells more like you exported “elementary streams” (separate audio and video files} which is the default for Mpeg 2 for DVD. Look back in the same folder as your video for a .wav file of the same name…

I had the same problem with XP. I found the MPEG file and a wav file in the same folder. What should I set to create MPEG file with audio?

Most DVD authoring apps expect 2 elementary streams…less sync issues.
On the Export Setting page of Adobe Media encoder, select Export Audio and THEN about 75 pixels south of that button, click the Multiplex tab and choose DVD.
