No audio on capture
Recently, I have been having intermittent capture problems. We capture live video into 4 edit systems. 3 Mac Pro & 1 Powerbook pro. The Mac Pros are 8 core, running FCP 7.03 & Kona 3 with Lion. The Laptop is a 2.53 Intel core 2 Duo with an IOHD with the same software. The towers are connected to 48tb Rourke drive using fibrejet san software. The laptop captures to a FW 800 drive. We are using log & capture inside FCP. Occasionally during the capture mode, we can hear the audio during the capture but there is not any audio on the captured clip. There are 8 audio tracks but they are all silent. We back everything up, using either KI-Pro’s or to DVCPRO HD tape and the backups are fine. Anybody else have this problem? It showed up this year after upgrading to Lion. Considering backdating the OS.
