  No audio input in the FCP Log & Capture using Decklink HD extreme

  I just purchase a Decklink HD Extreme which I just installed in my macpro 8 core 2.8 new machine.
  I followed the instructions and installed the card in slot #4, the thing is that today when I was going to do my first capture and I opened the Log & Capture FCP window I did not get audio input in the FCP log & Capture window. I called Blackmagic and they review my settings (all of them were ok), nothing happened. Then I reboot the machine and openened FCP again and it works. I digitize some stuff close the log & capture and when I opened again to continue digitizing audio input was gone again?????
  What is happening???? The Blackmagic design tech suggest me to change the breakout cable to see if any cable is bad. But if I reboot the machine and the audio works? don’t you think this is not the problem?
  Could it be the card???? PLEASE HELP !!!!
