Hey guys.. I use Avid Xpress Pro HD.
And when i start it, it says “Can’t find any audio cards in your system!”
so when i capture.. i can’t even replay anything because there is no audio… but i have an audio card.
my audio card is a “Realtek High Definition Audio”. Isn’t that audio problem fixed in Avid Xpress Pro HD 5.2?

    please help.. thank you

I have this card in my laptop, and no, Avid doesn’t recognise it on initialising. However, if you use another sound card, ie some sort of soundblaster, it will recognise that there is a soundcard in your system. Strangely enough, when you run Avid with a second soundcard, then change the windows settings back to your realtek HD card, it will still work.

Strange, but the only solution is to add another card.
