no audio from my source in the timeline.

Please can someone help.
When I double click on my audio in the browser, it opens up into the viewer but there is no audio, a1 a2 a3 a4 on the left handside of the timeline. this means I cannot cut it onto my sequence.

Can anyone help please.

Make sure you have enough audio tracks open. Right clip in the track area and reset panel. Should bring back the little patching tabs
