• Adobe Encore DVD

  No Audio for PC Playback (Mac too ???)

  So I am opening up my Encore project to see why a very well authored DVD which has audio on a DVD Player is not providing the audio stream on a PC.

  One thing I noticed on exploring the file structure of the DVD is that the main and only file directory is TS Video.

  Encore settings that are relevant are: under adnvanced on the Project settings Transcoding Audio is Mpeg-1 Layer II
  One video was rendered from Premier with Dolby audio and did not get transcoded,the other I used PCM and it required transcoding…wierd huh.

  Could this be a problem further back in my workflow IE rendered MPEG 2 from Premier
