    Hey guys,

I’m really stressing. Just bought a new canon and am delving into the DSLR world. Very exciting stuff.

I have been suggested to time and time again to convert to apple prores 422 using mpeg streamclip. But that doesn’t seem to be an option.

    Step 1. batch list

    step 2.add files/export to quicktime

    step 3. is the problem

I’ve looked over the codecs again and again apple prores 422 isn’t in there.

I could really use some help and need a solution quick. Thanks guys

I’ve got all the Prores flavors there.
Some old MPGStreamclip version didn’t tag properly Prores/Prores HQ.
Do you have the last version installed?

you must ahve other programs using apple prores codecs so unfortunatly you have to install final cut pro just for that..
then mpeg streamclip will use the codecs you have along with fcp

    Hey everyone.

I stayed up late and figured this out. I’m not sure what the problem was honestly.

But I just installed trail fcpx and then downloaded apples pro res. You can get it from their site. (then deleted X, because it’s awful)
