no alpha channel
I’m having a great deal of difficulty lately getting Motion 2 to output an alpha channel. I set the export to Animation, Color plus Alpha Channel. But the resulting QT file has no alpha channel. QT Player’s get info screen says Millions instead of Millions+. What gives? I also had a problem last week where the output of a certain project rendered without fields when I had it set to render fields. I rendered a different project with the same settings and it rendered fields properly.

Hmmm, I’ve just done a series of 8 show opens and lower thirds for the shows and alpha channel is working just fine.
I just choose Lossless+Alpha from the dropdown menu on the Export screen.
