No 29.97 Timeline Conform Option?
Hi,
Getting our feet wet with Resolve. Trying to bring in a 29.97 edl. On the Config>Project>Timeline Conform Options… it is always defaulted to a grayed out “24”. Meaning we can’t change it. And all my timelines seem to count with 24fps even when it’s 29.97.Also when we “load edl” from the conform page (with 29.97 material in our media pool) it always defaults to a frame rate of 24 which I’m assuming is because it’s stuck that way on the project config page. Any ideas why we can’t change the frame rate?

Hi, if the conform fps is grayed out it sounds as though u have material already in yr media pool and thus master timeline. Try setting the conform fps to 30 before addind the clips to the media pool, it should work. Then u can load the edl.

I was able to play a 29.97 fps timeline, but when I tried to export dailies it would only let me render out at 23.98 or 25. Also, the timecode would only read up to 24 fps.
Will this be fixed soon?
