Nitris DX Co-Processing for Transcoding
Does having a Nitris DX box speed up any transcoding while batch importing files or consolidating and transcoding from AMA as compared to software only?

I believe that the Nitris DX box accelerates the Avid DNxHD encoding and decoding.
There are single and dual chip options to facilitate Stereoscopic 3D with either DNxHD, AVC Intra or one of each available.
It also handles upscaling and downscaling as well as obviously providing all the relevant I/Osbest wishes
