    Hey guys,

I’ve been working on this project in my spare time. It’s a visual manual of skills needed to be a ninja (assassination, infiltration, deception, etc). Anyway, I’ve been trying to make an impact bomb using Particular but I’ve hit a wall. I’ve tried a couple of things using wind but I can’t replicate the quick explosion of smoke to a slow rise upwards. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    1. Under the ‘Physics’ tab you’ll find ‘gravity’, set it to a negative number, that will give you the slow rise.
    2. For the quick burst use the ‘velocity’ under the ‘Emitter’ tab at the same time as ‘air resistance’ under ‘Physics’.

Peder Norby made this project 10 years ago to show off Particular, fireworks, smoke text. I think you might be able to modify the “Smart Bomb CCD” project to create what you need.
