Nikon log and transfer FCP
Hello
I am borrowing a Nikon D7000 for a short film. I hear there may be some problems when I go to import. What do I need to do to get it into FCP and not lose any quality.

You cannot import it directly into FCP…and Log and Transfer doesn’t work with Nikon camera video. They never made a plugin for it.
Best option is to use MPEG STREAMCLIP or COMPRESSOR to convert the footage to ProRes LT, or ProRes 422
