  News Media Alert – NAB SHOW TECH WEEKEND

  NAB Show will host a variety of digital and technology-related events during Tech Weekend, April 7-8 in Las Vegas. NAB Show is held April 7-12.

  Four seperate NAB Show conferences will explore the latest digital trends and evolving technologies. Featured topics include UHD production, Next Gen TV, advances in cinema, VR, HDR and others.

  NAB produces the Broadcast Engineering and Information Technology Conference (BEITC). Select sesstions and workshops are co-produced by the Socitey of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), the Society of Motion Picture and Television Englineers (SMPTE), and IEEE.

  Saturday, April 7:
  Global UHD Conference, 9 am – 4:40 pm
  BEITC: SBE Ennes Workshop, “Tomorrow’s Media Toolbox Today,” 9 am – 12 pm
  BEITC: IEEE-BTS Symposium on ATSC 3 and 5G, 1:30 – 4:40 pm
  BEITC Engage! Sessions, 9 am – 4:40 pm
  SMPTE Future of Cinema Conference, 9 am – 4:40 pm

  Sunday, April 8:
  Digital Futures Exchange (“DFX”), 9 am – 4:40 pm
  BEITC Opening Ceremonies and papers, 9 am – 4:40 pm
  BEITC Engage! Sessions, 10:40 am – 4:40 pm
  SMPTE Future of Cinema Conference, 9 am – 12 pm

  The Global UHD Conference is open to all registration levels, including Exhibits Only. A Conference FlexPass is required to attend any sessions or workshops as part of the remaining three conferences.
