Is there an estimated time for resolving the problem in which changing the chromakey target phase also shifts the program video phase?

Other outstanding questions include allowing GPIs from the GPI / Tally interface to map to various buttons on the virtual panel, and adding keyboard shortcuts for other panel functions (e.g., DSK auto and DSK ON AIR).

Wait so does this mean capturing video over ethernet or do you still need to have the usb plugged in?

Capturing over ethernet has worked for me with the ATEM TVS.

Any chance on adding 1360 x768 59.94 hz (and other Computer compatible Resolucions) to the EDID table in the BM-Television Stuido. When plugging into ove of the an HDMI input connections on the BM-TVS to a Windows 7 machine if forces only 2 resolutions. 1080i and 720p. However the Switcher will cleanly upscale a 1360×768 or 1366×768 computer signal to full screen 1080i allowing you to use the laptops as 720p media player. That way you use the switcher to upscale to 1080i without taxing the scaler in the usually underpowered laptop GPU. This creates smoother playback of HD material.

But When you plug in the HDMI cable it forces the EDID resolutions as the only choices in the nVideo Drivers. Eliminating Mirror or clone mode in the Windows 7 display choices since most Laptops these days come in the 1366×768 native Rez.

The only way I have been able to fool Windows is to pass the HDMI through a DA that dosen’t support EDID communications.

Also I would like to see the audio that is embeded on the HDMI program out also appear on the HDMI and SDI multiview Out.

That way we could use a cheaper HD LCD TV for a Multiview Monitor and also use the TV’s speakers to monitor the Audio that is fed to the AES EBU input on the TVS switcher.

Is there more detailed documentation as to what the Capture settings are ? meaning

Capture From : (that one is obvious)
Video Capture Format: (I recognize the devices and sites but what exactly is that to mean )
Capture Quality :(Id like to know the bitrate rather than percentage)

Can anyone provide insight into this for me.

I’ve installed the 2.8 software but wasn’t prompted to update the firmware when I ran the ATEM Setup Utility while connected to the ATEM 1 M/E Switcher.

I’ve previously updated the firmware on the ATEM 1 M/E (a couple months ago) so I’m familiar with the process.

Was this a software-only release and doesn’t require a firmware update?
