Newly installed Vegas Pro 9 won’t reload project
So I finally upgraded to Pro 9 from Pro 8 so I could deal with those iPhone 4 video files and other iFiles that Pro 8 didn’t like. I got almost finished with a project, then when I tried to work on it again it would not load up properly. I have the message:
An error occured when loading a plug-in or plug-ins. The plugs specified are not installed on this system:
Plug-in: ‘Sony Track Noise Gate’ failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed.
Plug-in: ‘Sony Track EQ’ failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed.
Plug-in: ‘Sony Track Compressor’ failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed.So I uninstalled and then re-installed hoping that would solve the problem, but the same message appears and I can’t continue to work on the project.
Any ideas on what I can to to fix this??? Why could I have gotten as far as I did and then have this problem?? -

When you uninstalled were you able to verify that everything had indeed been uninstalled? EG, nothing left under C:\program files\sony …. ???
Just because a program uninstalls doesn’t mean it removes everything unfortunately.
